In another study, researchers discovered that the chances of getting a heart attack reduced when rats were given coconut water. The results show that coconut water helped decreased the total cholesterol triglyceride levels and LDL cholesterol. In addition, if the rats did already have a heart attack, they recovered much faster when consuming coconut water due to the key electrolytes contained in the beverage.

Helps alleviate stress and muscle tension

The two key minerals that help relieve the body’s stress and muscle tension are calcium and magnesium, which work together to help you stay stress-free. Many people are lacking these two minerals causing stress to be much more difficult to manage.

Calcium is known as a vital mineral that helps keep our bones and teeth strong, but on study showed that calcium also helps with smooth muscle relaxation.
